Join KAEE environmental education facilitators for our next Climate Education Workshop on June 16, 2023 at Cabela's in Louisville. Participants may register for a half-day introduction or a full-day deep dive into new ways to guide learners through experiences that highlight local effects of climate change. Central to the workshop are three award-winning curriculum projects:
Project Learning Tree's Southeastern Forests and Climate Change
Project WET's Climate, Water, & Resilience
Project WILD's Climate & Wildlife
Both formal and non-formal educators are welcome. All will be invited to share experiences working with learners to explore and explain climate-related phenomena. Correlations with Kentucky Academic Standards will be discussed.
