Climate & Resilience Education

Formal and nonformal educators planning to incorporate climate and resilience education into their curriculum are invited to participate in a dynamic day of professional development focused on recently released PLT, WET, and WILD Climate & Resilience Modules.

Time & Location

Mar 21, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Versailles, 570 Milner Rd, Versailles, KY 40383, USA

About the Event

While this training focuses on middle and high school learning experiences, we will consider how students build related concepts and skills at the elementary level. All formal and nonformal educators are welcome to participate. The cost of this workshop is defrayed by a grant to the Life Adventure Center from the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education (funded by the U.S. EPA).

Participants will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle (a refrigerator and microwave are available). Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.

If you have questions about the training or local arrangements, please contact Perry Thomas (perry@kaee.org or 802-279-5865).
