About the Event

Choose one or both of these exciting free, pilot workshops. Participants in the morning workshop will gain skills to guide students through localized learning experiences that focus on water as a critical resource and receive a copy of the new Project WET Foundations of Water Education guide. Those participating in the afternoon Climate Justice workshop will gain knowledge and skills needed to introduce students to ways of identifying communities disproprotionatley affected by extreme weather events. Participants should dress for the weather and be prepared for time inside and out. Please bring a mug, water bottle, and laptop/tablet. If you would like to join us for lunch, please bring your own or purchase a ticket for $10. We'll provide coffee, tea, water, and snacks.
